A Princess of a Gift

Hello all if you are coming from Jill Thee Scrapoholic Christmas blog hop you are in the right place.  This is my 2nd project this month & I am super excited that I was asked to participate.  I found these cute Pink boxes clearanced out at my local Michaels this Summer and I knew from that moment what exactly what I envisioned for this...I saw some bling & an ornament holder all in the same.  So of course I held on to these until Christmas time and came up with this..

So I took some bling placed it in the crown holes on the block, wrapped some double sided wire ribbon around the brim of the box....

Use my gypsy to cut out the word Princess from the Winter woodland cart ( Love this cart...thanks Emma!) Used transfer tape to place it on the box.  The box is done...but that was not the only part of my vision on had for this....

Took the flat glass bulbs filled with glitter, cut out a crown (cannot remember the name of the cart for that =( sorry ).  Put some Bling on the crown, add some feathers to the top, placed some tissue in the box & done!!  I just love this packaged item for a Christmas gift for the Little Princess in your life.

Merry Christmas to you all~

30 days of gift giving day 6

Hello Thank you so much Jill for asking me to participate in your 30 days of gift giving blog....if you came from
www.thescrapoholic.blogspot.com/ you are at the right place...I am day 6...

I have recently become addicted to Pinterest.....man oh man there are so many great gift giving, home decor ideas.  So my project I copied from....
www.adiamondinthestuff.blogspot.com/2011/08/fridge-picture-gallery-winner.html
To me this was such an awesome idea & would make a wonderful gift....who would not love a perpetual calendar??

So off to the resale store I went to see if I could get some cheap frames, then I purchased some spray paint, ordered my calendar from Snapfish to my local Meijer to pick up the next day....

I had to play around with different magnets...I bought these at Menards they are heavy duty....I also had to play around with the glass in the frame...the original glass that I bought with this frame was heavy...so I went to the dollar store bought another 11x14 frame & switched out the glass.  My refrigerator has a texture on the front of it (fingerprint free) and it took a little playing around but I finally got it to work.  When you go to A diamond in the stuff blog you will find a link that will take you to the person who created the calendar & she has different background colors to choose from.  I know that I will be making these for some special people in my life.

Thank you for stopping bye...would love it if you became a new follower!  I will be returning on the 29th of November with another gift!  Have a great day =)
