Playing catch up

It's been so long since I've posted.....we had a busy Summer leading into Fall here....and on top of that I have been trying to get my craft space whipped into shape.  I think some days it just whipped me.  I love now that I have everything in one area & it is organized!  You see, my basement flooded some years ago & my original craft space was destroyed.  This had been the 2nd time our basement had flooded due to our Townships lack of keeping up with the sewer lines (yes it was sewer water, clear but still contaminated which caused us to bring in special companies to deal with it and you cannot sue the Township...) .  I did not want to invest money in re-doing my craft room to possibly have this happen again.  But I bought a cricut machine & it changed my crafting in a BIG way....so then I had stuff here, there & everywhere....the time came to finally bite the bullet and do it....now it is done & I am in love with my new space!!!  But in the process I've neglected my blog....Please forgive me & I promise to try & keep up with it.....let's share some crafting photos with all of you =)

A fun Halloween card I made this year....and all the supplies I used where clearenced items!!!  I love the fact that it is not in the traditional colors most people associate with Halloween....I also used Pink by Design stamps on this project.

I love the witch legs...I got the original idea from an Stampin Up demo named Melanie Schulenberg.  These cello bags are now available from Stampin Up in there Holiday Mini.......My Creative time stamps were used in this project.

My Halloween decor.....most of these were done in 94 & 02.  I just love being crafty!!  And the memories of years past with all the decor warms my heart...thoughts of my sons when they were little & Mom decorating the house for the season....Nothing is better than that!

Hello All!!!

Welcome to my blog...I have been re-doing my craft room & thought I would share my space with you....enjoy the new room & maybe you might find an idea or 2 for your space!

 This has been months of work.......had to redo the flooring, repaint the space & the organize...I am still organizing but I also have finally begun working in my new space!!!

 I picked up the vanity from someone who was throwing it away & I had a friend of mine give me the laminate for FREE love love love free stuff!  The gutter ribbon idea I got from Martha Stewart...I've been waiting to do this for years!

the paper stack labeling idea I got from Kendra Wiggins...love it!  My little bar here & the hooks are from IKEA & the buckets I got at Target in there dollar bins.

Wedding Card box

My little cousin is getting married on 9/10/11 her soon to be hubby picked the date so that he'd always remember their wedding Anniversary.  She knows I am crafty and asked if I would make the a cardbox for her.  She has not seen the finished product, I will be meeting her tomorrow night at her last bridal fitting to present it to her.  I sure HOPE she likes it.  Please let me know what you think!

August birthday celebration

we were suppose to have a nail polish station but unfortunately we had horrible weather that day here in Michigan.,...we even lost power at my house for awhile...but all in all it was a great night...and we ended it with watching the movie "Grease" so much fun with all of us ladies doing singalongs...
