Breast Cancer Awareness

This is how I am presenting the mini pink carts I bought to give to my family in honor of my Aunt Marilyn who lost her fight against breast cancer some time ago....I used the cricut cartridge Pink Journey, and expressions vinyl colors pink and carnation pink....

Thank you gift

When I went on Spring break with my family, we needed someone to stay with our 3 dogs.  Well I do not have close family (or any family that would stay with them) so one of my girlfriends stayed here because she just loves our dogs.  She not only stayed with my dogs, but when I came home she had vacuumed my whole house, washed the sheets & just cleaned up.  I've never had this!!!  I was touched by her gestures....so she loves Palm Trees and I thought I would make her a gift.  I purchased a berry breeze candle (smells so awesome!!) cut a palm tree out of vinyl using the Birthday Cakes cart & cut her name with the Life's a beach cart.  I will bling it up before I give it to her (we've both been so busy that is why she's not gotten it yet) and I am including some cards I made & packaged up for her.....(plus she is getting a fake miniature palm tree & a gift certificate for a massage....my day job I am a massage therapist)

Graduation 2011

This year my youngest graduates from High School.....can you say empty nesters...oh goodness I will have to start liking my hubby...LOL  I decided to create a beverage bucket...I bought the bucket at my local Meijers store & added some vinyl...The Class of is from Wild Cards cart & 2011 is doodletype...Enjoy

A card I made for an SUsisters customer who has overcome breast cancer, to only be diagnosed with lung cancer....

This card is being made for a Stampin Up sister who has already battled breast cancer, to only find out she now has lung cancer.....the Hope stamp & the butterfly are from a stamp set being sold by SU in honor of cancer with $2.00 from every set going to Breast Cancer research fund....the H was made using Storybook cricut cart, p & e using calligraphy cart...punches from SU...by Crafty Queen (card front)

WOOOO HOOOO I received my E2 (cricut expression 2)

Yes yes I watched HSN's launch of the new cricut expression 2 on April 26, 2011....and I could not let it pass me bye!!!!!  I just had to make sure I was one of the owners of the limited edition machine!!!!  Yesterday was the longest day of my life waiting for the UPS big brown truck to hit my neighborhood!!!  (My hubby was telling me he bribed the UPS man and that I would not be getting my machine for quite sometime...luckily my UPS driver is a female & knows ohhh soooo well about waiting for a package)....well I did not have time to play with my E2 (that is what everyone is calling it for short) so I waited until today....updated my gypsy in hopes of playing with the exclusive carts that are on the E2 but to no avail.......have to wait for provo craft on that one...but I did play with it....Oh my goodness this machine is awesome & in the near future it is going to be totally AWESOME (valley girl lingo here...lol).  I love the larger LCD screen on the machine & I just love love love the light on the blade housing !!!!  There are quite a few functions on this machine verses the original they are: art quantity, project quantity, fit to page, auto fill, mat size (you can turn a 12x24 mat landscape now!!!) paper size....this is wonderful, start position, center point, fit to length, load last, apply all, paper saver...so some are new & some are not......until I get to know my machine better I will leave this right here!!!  If you got an E2 please hop in on the comments =)

Card was from a clearanced pack I bought years ago made by DCWV.....cardstock Stampin Up.....stamp from SAB punch bunch, cricut accent essentials.....punches 21/2 inch circle & 1 3/4 inch scallop SU... inside this set of cards I have stamped sentiments from various companies ..they are....Hello, Happy Birthday, Celebrate, Good Luck, Thanks, Congrats, best wishes, thinking of you,just a thought, thoughts & prayers...this would make a beautiful Mother's day gift....same card different sentiments!!!
